The Old Print Barn-Art Gallery
Enter the barn door to find yourself in one of the largest art galleries in New England. Walk to the center where you can look all around to see over two thousand original works of art on display. In this one gallery you will see all forms of printmaking from etchings to mezzotints, photography, watercolors, and oil paintings. The gallery is composed of a main floor over forty by forty feet having two lofts at the second floor level. Both floors are composed of a dozen 8 by 10 foot small bays to make viewing easier. You can see the giant hand hewed timbers that make up the superstructure of the Civil War period barn. Nothing has been changed, only decorated to lose the impression of a cow barn and gain that of an art gallery.
