Wine & cheese – and the growing list of restaurants and lodgings extending a special welcome to those who love them both – is an expression of New Hampshire’s commitment to bringing the best from farm to table, a movement that is formalized in the Farm to Restaurant collaboration between growers, producers and chefs. Visit New Hampshire and experience the culinary passion that is alive and well throughout the state.

In the Seacoast Region, you'll find a variety of different wineries. Flaghill Winery in Lee welcomes visitors to their tasting rooms to sample the red, white and port wines produced from varietals that thrive in the seacoast region.  On Saturday evenings the winery's Ferguson-Davis Dining Room offers seasonally themed regional cuisine, incorporating ingredients from local farms and producers. Visit the Jewell Towne Vineyards in South Hampton and taste renowned award-winning wines that have taken home more than 100 medals in international competitions. In Sandown, Zorvino Vineyards produces quality wines from both local grapes and grapes grown in Tuscany, Chile and Northern California. Tours, tastings and special wine dinners at Castello Zorvino, the terraced manor house on the property, are ideal reasons for stopping by.

Just next door in the Merrimack Valley region, you'll find Candia Vineyards, a boutique vineyard in Candia that specializes in fine wines from grapes.  With NH’s only Diamond, Frontenac, LaCrosse, Noiret and LaCrescent wines, they were N.E.’s  #1 most awarded vineyard at the Eastern States wine competition.

In the Monadnock Region, head into Walpole along the scenic Connecticut River and savor the riches of a local cheese artisan and wine maker. Boggy Meadow Farm makes cheese from an old alpine recipe using raw milk from their herd of cows. Call ahead to schedule a tour or drop in to buy farm fresh cheese at their 24 hour store which operates with an honor system cash box. The LaBelle Winery, located in the heart of Alyson's Orchard, is a unique winery that incorporates a variety of fresh fruits into distinctive wines. Seasonal wines are made with orchard-grown apples, peaches, strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, jalapeño peppers, and pumpkins. Come by for wine tours and tastings on Saturdays throughout the fall.

Over in the Lakes Region, stop by the Sandwich Creamery known for its cow’s milk farm stand cheese and terrific ice cream. Tours are available by appointment but you can purchase cheeses and ice cream around the clock in their honor system store.

Statewide, you can visit any of the New Hampshire Liquor Stores to find a wide variety of different wines and spirits made locally, nationally and internationally.  You can also check out a listing of special programs and events in the state, including wine tastings.
