Loon Mountain is an accessible big mountain destination that offers 2,100 ft. of vertical, plenty of terrain variety, great snow, superior service, and lots of lodging and dining options! Loon has more than doubled its snowmaking capacity since 2010, while adding exciting new terrain on South Peak. The mountain has terrain for everyone, from steep bump runs to long cruisers to our signature Loon Mountain Park. This year, the Paul Bunyan-themed Burton Riglet Park & Lil' Stash give groms a place to shred. Known for superior snow, Loon has a veteran team of snowmakers and groomers who take pride in bringing you the best conditions possible. Our Unconditional Guarantee backs up that promise, so if you’re not satisfied with the snow, you can come back and visit Loon another day that season. Loon’s Snowsports School has programs for every age and ability to help you have more fun on the mountain. Loon’s Adventure Center offers XC and snowshoe rentals and tours, ice skating and an indoor climbing wall. Lift-served and walk-up tubing is a family favorite.
