Equine Discovery Center

The Equine Discovery Center (EDC) is a place where curiosity and exploration are held in the highest regard and fostered in every lesson offered. We offer both educational and recreational adventures intended to be enjoyed by students, families and adults alike. Our educational adventures can be delivered to schools and community centers via our unique mobile classroom or field trips can be arranged to bring students to our location. Our programs unite the beauty and mystery of the horse with the everyday subjects of math, science, language and history to create a learning experience that children of all ages will enjoy. We use real horses to demonstrate and explore topics such as anatomy, nutrition, body language and more. Our recreational adventures are designed to enable children and adults, as families or individuals, learn more about horses and their needs, expand horsemanship skills, or more fully understand the natural world around them in a fun and relaxing way.
