New London Barn Playhouse

Today, as in 1933, there are no stars, no underlings, no "specials." Just a talented group of people with a common bond of putting on the best shows possible. The Barn offers six main stage productions throughout the summer. These shows are comprised of our acting intern company, Barn alumni, actors from New London and surrounding communities, and Guest Equity actors. Guest directors, choreographers, and designers also assist our resident production staff in creating award-winning theater all summer long. In addition to our main production schedule, we also offer a Children’s Theater Series. This group of Junior Interns are highly talented 12-18 year-olds who present five full productions every summer. Four of these productions share the main stage space with our resident acting company, and one production is always presented outdoors, free of charge, in varying locations each summer.
