The Frost Place

Overview

The Frost Place is poet Robert Frost's farm homestead, now a permanent home and museum for poets and poetry. Each spring, summer, and fall, The Frost Place welcomes visitors to a museum honoring Frost's life and work, grants a summer residency to a promising poet, offers a free summer poetry reading series, and summer poetry programs with world-renowned faculty. (For more information on The Frost Place, please visit: www.frostplace.org) Visitors view the rooms where Frost lived and wrote, view rare first editions of his work, and see a video scripted by Frost's great-grandson. Also on the property is the Poetry Nature Trail, a quarter-mile loop trail where visitors can read Frost's poems on plaques. The poetry trail and the stunning view from Robert Frost's front porch are open to visitors year-round.
