Pickering House Inn is an award-winning, 10-room luxury inn located in a renovated historic property in the heart of Wolfeboro. Once the homestead of a prominent Wolfeboro businessman, Pickering House and its attached 19th century barn were transformed in 2018 into an inn and event venue that quickly earned raves for superior service and relaxed --- yet sophisticated -- ambiance and design. Each of the guest rooms offers its own unique layout and decor. All rooms feature upscale amenities such as luxurious bathrooms, top-of-the-line mattresses and linens, individually controlled heat and AC, heated bathroom floors, WiFi, Smart TVs and more. A sumptuous breakfast is included in the room rate. Inn guests also have the opportunity to secure hard-to-get advance reservations at PAVILION, an exceptional restaurant located next door to the Inn.

Our common rooms or outdoor spaces are perfect for smaller break-out sessions, while The Barn at Pickering House — a restored, 19th century property – is a wonderful venue for groups both large and small. Book the entire Inn, grounds and Barn for a truly memorable retreat! (The Barn may be available for a single meeting, depending on the date and season.)

The Barn at Pickering House offers an elegant and exclusive celebration space for couples who want the rustic charm of a restored 19th century barn, but with modern luxuries and convenience to downtown activities. Pickering House offers a destination experience for a select number of Wedding Weekends each year. We give preference to couples who have secured a wedding planner.
