Dixville Flume (Flume Brook Picnic Area, Colebrook) *A short, 1/10-mile hike through Dixville Notch State Park leads to a stunning waterfall that cascades over a series of three plunges with a drop of 18 feet. The trek is extra special in early spring when white snow frames the falls and ice captures the sparkling water in a frozen façade. *If you plan to make the trek in early spring, be sure to come prepared with a good coat and warm winter boots as the trail can be snow-covered well into the spring season.
Tillotson Center (14 Carriage Lane, Colebrook) Enjoy a visit to Colebrook’s community heritage and visual and performing arts center for a lineup of spring performances, local history preservation, and cultural overview of New Hampshire’s northern region.
